Limited Sinomaple Warranty

for Laminate Flooring

Sinomaple Flooring is pleased to offer you the following Residential Warranty Program on the Laminate flooring products installed within the confines of a private residential home using recommended installation methods and floor maintenance procedures, assuming proper relative humidity and temperature conditions within your home are maintained.

Under the Residential Warranty Program, as detailed below, Sinomaple Flooring warrants that its products meet all the quality standards specified for each product category. The residential warranty is extended to the original purchaser(s) ONLY of the Sinomaple laminate floor. This program is limited to residential application only, and does NOT apply to commercial or industrial use.

Every step of the manufacturing process goes through many strict and rigorous QUALITY control standards. This is your best guarantee of superior QUALITY and consistency in our products. It is mandatory that the purchaser(s) install the floor as per proper installation instructions.

Limited Warranty for Residential Use

We warrant to the original purchaser that our laminate flooring will be free from manufacturing defects (including delamination, material, or production defects), and for the applicable warranty period specified below, will not wear through, stain from normal household consumable items when maintained in accordance with recommended maintenance guidelines, or fade from sunlight or artificial light under normal residential conditions, but not in the vent of unusual chemical or mechanical stress. Gloss fading is not wear-through.

  • For 12mm AC3 products, SINO-MAPLE FLOORING offers 25 years Warranty.
  • For 8mm AC3 products, SINO-MAPLE FLOORING offers 15 years Warranty.
General terms and conditions for warranty

1.  Our laminate flooring must be installed as described in Välinge locking system installation guide. It is the installer’s responsibility to inspect each board PRIOR to the installation.

2.  This warranty excludes damage from unusual transportation or exposure to extreme heat, dryness, or water saturation. Products with visible defects must not be installed under any circumstances.

3.  This warranty does not apply if product is installed in areas contrary to recommendation of laminate flooring installation, including but not limited to exterior applications, unstable/improper subfloors, and areas exposed to excessive topical and ground moisture (including cleaning that is too wet and/or the use of inappropriate cleaning products and so on).

4.  For surface wear to be a warrantable occurrence, the surface wear-through must be readily visible from a distance of six feet and measure at least one square inch.

5.  Warranty excludes indentations, scratches, scuffs, cuts, chipping or such damage caused by lack of proper maintenance and use, including but not limited to gliders, castor wheels, vacuum cleaner, beater bars, misuse, negligence, accidents, pets, and spiked heel shoes (or shoes not under proper repair).

6.  The limited warranty does not cover variations of color, shade or texture of the panels you purchase from shown on samples or photographs.

7.  The limited warranty does not cover construction related damage.

Floor Care Instruction

Non-abrasive, soap free cleaner is suitable for laminate flooring on a regular basis. Please note the following tips:

  • Remove any wet spills immediately to avoid liquid penetration into the joints.
  • Do not flood the floor with water.
  • Do not use soap-based detergents or “mop and shine” products. They may leave a dull finish on your floor.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool or scouring powder, as these may scratch your floor.
  • Do not wax, polish, sand or lacquer floor.
  • Use wide-bearing, not-staining floor protectors, such as clear, hard plastic or no-staining felt protectors, for heavy furnishings. Use caution when moving large appliances.
Claims

Contact our sales service and describe the problem with sample of defects no later than 30 days after the discovery of the defect. We reserve the right to inspect the defect ourselves or to have it inspected by our authorized agents before recognizing any claim. All compensation will be negotiated according to the quantity and severity of defect.
